Arda Ünsev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Muhtar in the 25th minute of the match. Olivér Cseh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfikar Akgün in the 32nd minute of play. Boran Derem in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Osmangazi booed when Karapinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koray Erincer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Raşit Baroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Ünsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boran Derem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Ünsev having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boran Derem in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arda Ünsev saved Karapinar from getting behind. Zülfikar Akgün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Yahya Remiz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Olivér Cseh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karapinar. In the 95th minute, Boran Derem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Osmangazi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Osmangazi manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Karapinar to win.
