Koray Erincer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Yiğitcan Keykubad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güzelyalı FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yiğitcan Keykubad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Bedirhan Sahadettin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arda Ünsev. Zülfikar Akgün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Abuzer Boğatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arda Ünsev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğitcan Keykubad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şafak Hanedan during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Karapinar booed when Güzelyalı FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şafak Hanedan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abuzer Boğatekin made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Anıl Arda Zeynel sent off a good shot on target. Güzelyalı FK's Abuzer Boğatekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Güzelyalı FK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koray Erincer in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abuzer Boğatekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 minutes Güzelyalı FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anıl Arda Zeynel who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Güzelyalı FK's zone, Koray Erincer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abuzer Boğatekin came out of the goal and Koray Erincer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koray Erincer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Karapinar's Zülfikar Akgün in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zülfikar Akgün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abuzer Boğatekin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zülfikar Akgün in the 85th minute of play forced Güzelyalı FK's goalkeeper Abuzer Boğatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karapinar's Zülfikar Akgün got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Güzelyalı FK got a freekick which was hit by Samir Ünüvar. In the 95th match minute, Güzelyalı FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Ünüvar to maneuver through the defense. The Güzelyalı FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Güzelyalı FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
