After 27 played minutes Ümraniye FK got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Cahit Peker. Gürol Öztuna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horst Heinrich. Ümraniye FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Horst Heinrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baybars Batıray in the 29th minute of the match. Epifanio Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Giannopoulatos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atay Durualp during the 66th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Abad couldn't finish the play. Ottoman Orcs succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ümraniye FK had controlled the match.
