Kocaali JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balya FK the free kick. With a little luck, Kocaali JK's Aşkın Babayiğit got control of the ball when Hasan Can Oncubay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Balya FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Can Oncubay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Aşkın Babayiğit successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birant Dengizer to strike the kick off in the second half. If Birant Dengizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Başar Serdengeçti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Şener İdris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Balya FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batu Cem Işınbay to maneuver through the defense. Burhan Hüdayioğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şener İdris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şener İdris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Başar Serdengeçti's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Hasan Can Oncubay struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Aşkın Babayiğit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balya FK. Aşkın Babayiğit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Can Oncubay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaali JK's zone, Birant Dengizer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aşkın Babayiğit came out of the goal and Birant Dengizer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Balya FK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
