Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sabanözü's Muzaffer Hozatlı started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Vecdet Urgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suat Gencal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vecdet Urgun scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Suat Gencal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 11 minutes, Xerxes Handel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Üçyol Paşalargücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xerxes Handel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Sabanözü's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Tengiz came free, but Suat Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Vecdet Urgun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Suat Gencal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Suat Gencal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vecdet Urgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Muzaffer Hozatlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Ilgaz Kapkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suat Gencal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabanözü's Suat Gencal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerxes Handel in the 34th minute of play. When Vecdet Urgun came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Üçyol Paşalargücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vecdet Urgun couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Vecdet Urgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xerxes Handel to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vecdet Urgun in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Suat Gencal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Sabanözü's goalkeeper Suat Gencal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xerxes Handel. After 70 minutes of play, Üçyol Paşalargücü's Vecdet Urgun made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Suat Gencal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Üçyol Paşalargücü's Songur İnciroğlu was substituted for Şadi Dafi. Suat Gencal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerxes Handel in the 75th minute of play. Menderes Tecik got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Muzaffer Hozatlı. After a rather tough play, Üçyol Paşalargücü's Gökhan Okbudun got a free kick in the 81st minute. 88 minutes into the game, Kenan Ersoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Üçyol Paşalargücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabanözü the free kick. When Muzaffer Okyar came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Sabanözü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muzaffer Okyar couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Xerxes Handel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Suat Gencal. That made the score 0-5 in the 95 minute of play. The Sabanözü fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Üçyol Paşalargücü were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
