An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağlar Koçaş in the 13th minute of play forced Kocaali JK's goalkeeper Aşkın Babayiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Başar Serdengeçti in the 15th minute of play forced Alacakaya's goalkeeper Volkan Kabakçı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kocaali JK's Aşkın Babayiğit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cemal Şahan in the 18th minute of play. Hüsmen Şanlı hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tayyar Korhan during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alacakaya booed when Kocaali JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayyar Korhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alacakaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Çağlar Koçaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aşkın Babayiğit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Kılıçhan Şaki hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Aşkın Babayiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemal Şahan in the 57th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Kocaali JK got a freekick which was hit by Tayyar Korhan. Çağlar Koçaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aşkın Babayiğit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kocaali JK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cemal Şahan 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaali JK's zone, Cemal Şahan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aşkın Babayiğit came out of the goal and Cemal Şahan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Çağlar Koçaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kocaali JK's Aşkın Babayiğit got control of the ball when Çağlar Koçaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 79 in the game by Çağlar Koçaş from a close distance when the talented Aşkın Babayiğit managed to make a qualified save. Kocaali JK's players were relieved. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Çağlar Koçaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seyfi Temizöz during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Alacakaya:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kocaali JK:s goal. Mümin Salih walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some careless play in the Alacakaya defense, Burhan Hüdayioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Volkan Kabakçı. The Alacakaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Volkan Kabakçı should have stopped the shot.
