Mürsel Topçam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Hakkı Tolgay having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lütfü Şevki during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lütfü Şevki kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Şamil Tanay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mürsel Topçam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Galatasaray S.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şamil Tanay to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Ahmet Binalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmail Hakkı Tolgay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İsmail Hakkı Tolgay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mürsel Topçam in the 61st minute of the match. Kadim Hadim's late challenge caught a Galatasaray S.K's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kadim Hadim helped the player get up and apologised. Kadim Hadim kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Mürsel Topçam came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Adapazarı fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mürsel Topçam couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mürsel Topçam in the 81st minute of play forced Galatasaray S.K's goalkeeper İsmail Hakkı Tolgay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergen Tokyüz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garip Tuğsav, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes Adapazarı's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mahsun Kutlubay who took care of the corner kick. Sergen Tokyüz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garip Tuğsav in the 95th minute of the match. Ali Nabi Okgüç kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Adapazarı's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
