Galatabahçe's supporters rose to their feet, but Akın Özyurek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akın Özyurek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Müjdat Özerdinc came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emre Dengiz could save by the left post. In the 58th minute Akif Enfa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emre Dengiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bigadic booed when Galatabahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramazan Kebir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eralp Uran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Emre Dengiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Emre Dengiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emre Dengiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akif Enfa in the 73rd minute of play. Battal Özmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolunay Arısal having to interfere. Akın Özyurek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Akın Özyurek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatabahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akın Özyurek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akın Özyurek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferit Tümkut hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galatabahçe fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bigadic had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
