With a little luck, GALATASARAY A.Ş's Asım Arif Dikici got control of the ball when Ömür Sabuncu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Orlando Pirates's Özer Yılğıralp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Asım Arif Dikici. Asım Arif Dikici yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. GALATASARAY A.Ş's Asım Arif Dikici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY A.Ş from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Ömür Sabuncu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Asım Arif Dikici. Ömür Sabuncu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Asım Arif Dikici was a little too slow when Jair Arizmendi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 3-0. Asım Arif Dikici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özer Yılğıralp in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Jair Arizmendi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Asım Arif Dikici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Asım Arif Dikici was a little too slow when Özer Yılğıralp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 5-0. Asım Arif Dikici made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ömür Sabuncu sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Orlando Pirates's Jair Arizmendi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Asım Arif Dikici. Asım Arif Dikici yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Asım Arif Dikici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ömür Sabuncu went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After 41 minutes of play, Orlando Pirates's Ömür Sabuncu made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asım Arif Dikici was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Özer Yılğıralp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Asım Arif Dikici. Özer Yılğıralp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özer Yılğıralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Asım Arif Dikici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömür Sabuncu in the 53rd minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, Orlando Pirates's Ömür Sabuncu made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asım Arif Dikici was left in no man's land by his defense there! Şener Temizer's late challenge caught a Orlando Pirates's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şener Temizer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, GALATASARAY A.Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şener Temizer to maneuver through the defense. Asım Arif Dikici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jair Arizmendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Özer Yılğıralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Asım Arif Dikici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Asım Arif Dikici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özer Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Asım Arif Dikici came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Orlando Pirates's Fábio Abraão. But to his dismay, Fábio Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Abraão in the 87th minute of play forced GALATASARAY A.Ş's goalkeeper Asım Arif Dikici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Özer Yılğıralp made a precise shot to the right of Asım Arif Dikici. GALATASARAY A.Ş's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. In the 94th match minute, Orlando Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jair Arizmendi to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Özer Yılğıralp made a precise shot to the right of Asım Arif Dikici. GALATASARAY A.Ş's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. When the referee ended the match the Orlando Pirates players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
