The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Özal Topuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tekman getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cemal Atabey hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğuş Ergümen in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdulmelik Ertuna saved Tekman from getting behind. If Doğuş Ergümen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Tekman's goal looked a bit too open when Doğuş Ergümen came free, but Abdulmelik Ertuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Tekman's Alpay Çelikoz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Alpay Çelikoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tekman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AK Parti the free kick. Karhan Taşer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alpay Çelikoz in the 32nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Tekman's Karhan Taşer threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ramiz Bucak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tekin Tuğsavan hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğuş Ergümen in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdulmelik Ertuna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karhan Taşer was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Ramiz Bucak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiz Bucak really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiz Bucak was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Doğuş Ergümen from a close distance when the talented Abdulmelik Ertuna managed to make a qualified save. Tekman's players were relieved. Tekin Tuğsavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timur Kural in the 58th minute of play forced AK Parti's goalkeeper Karhan Taşer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fevzi Öztuna fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tekman's protests and gave Fevzi Öztuna a yellow card for diving instead. 68 minutes into the match, Fevzi Öztuna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karhan Taşer. AK Parti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fevzi Öztuna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 73rd match minute, AK Parti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Haşim Bektaş to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Tekman got a freekick which was hit by Fevzi Öztuna. 83 minutes into the match, AK Parti's goal looked a bit too open when Alpay Çelikoz came free, but Karhan Taşer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AK Parti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tekman the free kick. Recep Turatekin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. Tekman walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
