Gencay Kayraalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alpay Çelikoz in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Umut İlhanoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Timur Kural fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tekman's protests and gave Timur Kural a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Timur Kural hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umut İlhanoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Abdulmelik Ertuna made a huge save. Gencay Kayraalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ramiz Bucak made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute İlmi Tulun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulmelik Ertuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umut İlhanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulmelik Ertuna having to interfere. Ramiz Bucak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencay Kayraalp having to interfere. When Tekman's Alpay Çelikoz in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ramiz Bucak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İlmi Tulun struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Abdulmelik Ertuna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kecierengücü FK. Kecierengücü FK's Gencay Kayraalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiz Bucak in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, İzzettin Doğangün was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kecierengücü FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tekman the free kick. İzzettin Doğangün hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Tekman played a much better game than Kecierengücü FK and deserved their victory. The Kecierengücü FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
