In the 39th minute, Doğuş Ergümen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Asım Arif Dikici. The goal made the score 3-0. Songurbey Usum made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kılıç Öktuna however managed to control. In the 48th minute, Kılıç Öktuna made a precise shot to the right of Karhan Taşer. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doğuş Ergümen made a kick off. Asım Arif Dikici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğuş Ergümen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in AK Parti's zone, Şener Temizer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karhan Taşer came out of the goal and Şener Temizer tried to chip the ball over his head. Thanks to some nice moves Kılıç Öktuna could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Karhan Taşer however easily saved by the left post. Asım Arif Dikici came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by AK Parti's Doğuş Ergümen. But to his dismay, Doğuş Ergümen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. If Şener Temizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY A.Ş's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Sarıkaya came free, but Asım Arif Dikici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AK Parti's attentive Ahmet Haşim Bektaş managed to snatch the ball when Songurbey Usum made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. If Doğuş Ergümen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AK Parti fans cheered their team off the field, for while GALATASARAY A.Ş had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
