The supporters of GENÇLER SK booed when Sihhiye FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cavit Sungurbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Ahmet Fikret Özkaya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Oğuz Şıran skillfully saved the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Tarkan Secavend cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ahmet Oğuz Şıran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Rıza Dinçay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarkan Secavend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rıza Dinçay made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cavit Sungurbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sihhiye FK's Rıza Dinçay got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fahrettin Akdağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Oğuz Şıran made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Tarkan Secavend sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Sihhiye FK got a freekick which was hit by Cavit Sungurbay. Ahmet Oğuz Şıran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Mustafali, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Aktaç Mustafali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Oğuz Şıran. Sihhiye FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aktaç Mustafali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Yusuf Ziya Özil hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Tarkan Secavend came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the GENÇLER SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarkan Secavend couldn't finish the play. If Aktaç Mustafali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sihhiye FK's Ahmet Vefik Akboğa got a free kick in the 89th minute. GENÇLER SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Fikret Özkaya in the 93rd minute. After taking down the ball on GENÇLER SK's corner Ahmet Fikret Özkaya fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmet Oğuz Şıran quite easily take care of the ball. Musa Bumba's late challenge caught a Sihhiye FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Musa Bumba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to GENÇLER SK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Musa Bumba hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GENÇLER SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
