Abidin Ekincioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Varol Cebe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oktay Hatemoğlu. Aksarayspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Mehmet Çağrı Başdaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oktay Hatemoğlu. Aksarayspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Çağrı Başdaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Oktay Hatemoğlu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Maltepespor SK's Halim Özgurel. But to his dismay, Halim Özgurel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Halim Özgurel notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Aksarayspor's Oktay Hatemoğlu. Oktay Hatemoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oktay Hatemoğlu came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Maltepespor SK's Abidin Ekincioğlu. But to his dismay, Abidin Ekincioğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Abidin Ekincioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oktay Hatemoğlu having to interfere. Maltepespor SK's Halim Özgurel got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mehmet Çağrı Başdaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abidin Ekincioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Oktay Hatemoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Berker Rıza Boyraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aksarayspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maltepespor SK the free kick. Berker Rıza Boyraz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Varol Cebe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oktay Hatemoğlu skillfully saved the ball. Halim Saip hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abidin Ekincioğlu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Aksarayspor's Arman Muhlis got a free kick in the 54th minute. Maltepespor SK's Abidin Ekincioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Maltepespor SK got a freekick which was hit by Halim Saip. The supporters of Aksarayspor booed when Maltepespor SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Arif Hüdayioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oktay Hatemoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abidin Ekincioğlu in the 70th minute. Abidin Ekincioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aksarayspor's Oktay Hatemoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Aksarayspor from getting a goal against them. Abidin Ekincioğlu had several of the Aksarayspor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Oktay Hatemoğlu as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 85th minute, Abidin Ekincioğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oktay Hatemoğlu. The goal made the score 0-7. If Abidin Ekincioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maltepespor SK's Abidin Ekincioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Maltepespor SK booed when Aksarayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyyaz Kulan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maltepespor SK played a much better game than Aksarayspor and deserved their victory. The Aksarayspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
