Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abdulaziz Uruk got the match started through his kick off. If Abdulaziz Uruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürkan Yönet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selahaddin Yumlu having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Serik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurhan Yordam to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Yıldıray Kayaalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cüneyt Uğuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulaziz Uruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Serik's goal looked a bit too open when Bayezit Necid came free, but Selahaddin Yumlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürkan Yönet in the 37th minute of play forced Serik's goalkeeper Selahaddin Yumlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Bayezit Necid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FENERBAHÇE fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when FENERBAHÇE's Gürkan Yönet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half FENERBAHÇE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bayezit Necid made the kick off in the second half. If Abdulaziz Uruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibet Öğüç's late challenge caught a Serik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tibet Öğüç helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FENERBAHÇE's Tibet Öğüç got a free kick in the 56th minute. Abdulaziz Uruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyt Uğuz having to interfere. Songurhan Yordam hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Gürkan Yönet came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürkan Yönet couldn't finish the play. FENERBAHÇE's Gürkan Yönet got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serik's Selahaddin Yumlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayezit Necid in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Yıldıray Kayaalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yıldıray Kayaalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cüneyt Uğuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yıldıray Kayaalp's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Yıldıray Kayaalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Abdulaziz Uruk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serik's Vahit Pozan suffered a sore thigh after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
