The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaşar Aliyar got free with Selmi Otaç in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yaşar Aliyar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selmi Otaç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Beşiktaş JK got a freekick which was hit by Baransel Savtuna. In the 33rd minute, Bahadır Selil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murat Selim Baturalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Selmi Otaç was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Hakan Babaoğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. Vatan Hikmettin hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Hakan Babaoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Latif Taşer kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Yaşar Aliyar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selmi Otaç was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ahmet Hakan Babaoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmi Otaç having to interfere. Beşiktaş JK's Selmi Otaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Latif Taşer in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş JK's goal looked a bit too open when Yaşar Aliyar came free, but Selmi Otaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes, Özer Tanacan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CaPLooNBa and the Beşiktaş JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baransel Savtuna hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaşar Aliyar in the 74th minute of play forced Beşiktaş JK's goalkeeper Selmi Otaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selmi Otaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hakan Babaoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ahmet Hakan Babaoğlu took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selmi Otaç. Selmi Otaç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Boğaçhan İstanbullu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murat Selim Baturalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute Yaşar Aliyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selmi Otaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CaPLooNBa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
