Aytek Neval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tayfun Akdurmuş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vecdet Ersal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakut Taygun in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mete Vehbi in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vecdet Ersal saved Galatasaray SK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Vehbi in the 36th minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Vecdet Ersal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vecdet Ersal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yakut Taygun's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Mete Vehbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Ersal having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yakut Taygun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aytek Neval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Ayberk Onar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hazeyn's Ahmet Baki Haliç suffered a sore thigh after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Hazeyn booed when Galatasaray SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songur Ilgınlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Mete Vehbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hazeyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Mete Vehbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vecdet Ersal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray SK's zone, Mete Vehbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdet Ersal came out of the goal and Mete Vehbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Mete Vehbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray SK's Pars Tecik suffered a sore thigh after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Yakut Taygun's late challenge caught a Galatasaray SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yakut Taygun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hazeyn's Yakut Taygun got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ayberk Onar struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Tayfun Akdurmuş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray SK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mete Vehbi got free with Vecdet Ersal in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mete Vehbi came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vecdet Ersal could save by the left post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
