Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdulmelik Saadettin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Galatasaray SK's Vecdet Ersal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulmelik Saadettin in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Aytek Neval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ayberk Onar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Asım Arif Baransel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Aytek Neval reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Asım Arif Baransel. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when KEŞAN SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behiç Yadigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Atak Yesar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, KEŞAN SK's Abdulmelik Saadettin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vecdet Ersal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 27 played minutes KEŞAN SK got a freekick which was hit by İlkan Aktaşlıoğlu. Vecdet Ersal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atak Yesar in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Abdulmelik Saadettin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KEŞAN SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ayberk Onar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes KEŞAN SK got a freekick which was hit by İlkan Aktaşlıoğlu. A long shot from Arif Bilge Üçer in the 41st minute of play was well struck, but Asım Arif Baransel made a really good save at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atak Yesar in the 43rd minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Vecdet Ersal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Atak Yesar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KEŞAN SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atak Yesar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aytek Neval to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atak Yesar got free with Vecdet Ersal in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vecdet Ersal came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by KEŞAN SK's Atak Yesar. But to his dismay, Atak Yesar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. İbrahim Efe Ateşoğlu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Atak Yesar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cevahir Turgut kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Atak Yesar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Atak Yesar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Atak Yesar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vecdet Ersal. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atak Yesar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. KEŞAN SK's Atak Yesar got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Galatasaray SK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
