An unexpectedly hard shot by Özen Sidam in the 3rd minute of play forced Harbiye FK's goalkeeper Onur İmar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Aybars Baliç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur İmar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yüksel Sait took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sefa Eğilmez. Sefa Eğilmez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mustafa Hamit Tüzün kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Aybars Baliç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur İmar having to interfere. Özen Sidam struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Onur İmar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kᴀsᴛᴀᴍᴏɴᴜ Sᴘᴏʀ. Mustafa Hamit Tüzün hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nedim Akçakan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sefa Eğilmez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Harbiye FK's Yüksel Sait sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sefa Eğilmez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Onur İmar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özen Sidam in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Harbiye FK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mustafa Hamit Tüzün hit a great ball. Onur İmar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özen Sidam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Harbiye FK's Gökhan Atay got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Kᴀsᴛᴀᴍᴏɴᴜ Sᴘᴏʀ's Özen Sidam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Onur İmar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Özen Sidam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kᴀsᴛᴀᴍᴏɴᴜ Sᴘᴏʀ's supporters rose to their feet, but Özen Sidam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Onur İmar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Aybars Baliç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur İmar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özen Sidam took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Onur İmar. Onur İmar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nedim Akçakan to make the kick off. After 58 minutes Kᴀsᴛᴀᴍᴏɴᴜ Sᴘᴏʀ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yüksel Nuri who took care of the corner kick. Nedim Akçakan might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sefa Eğilmez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kᴀsᴛᴀᴍᴏɴᴜ Sᴘᴏʀ booed when Harbiye FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökhan Atay didn't get a good kick on the ball. From a short distance, Kᴀsᴛᴀᴍᴏɴᴜ Sᴘᴏʀ's Özen Sidam, in the 76th minute, tried to place the ball behind Onur İmar, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. In the 79th minute Özen Sidam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur İmar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harbiye FK's Onur İmar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özen Sidam in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes Harbiye FK got a freekick which was hit by Gökhan Atay. Gökalp Koytan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nedim Akçakan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
