With his leg Kerim Kilic managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Balikesir's Yağızalp Ortunc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erdi Akkaynak during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to 51Niğde getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Erdi Akkaynak hit a great ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Yağızalp Ortunc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balikesir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yağızalp Ortunc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balikesir's Tadeusz Cizeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdi Akkaynak in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind 51Niğde's goalkeeper Kerim Kilic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Balikesir booed when 51Niğde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdi Akkaynak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeusz Cizeski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sezer Açıkgöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hacı Ali Mengüer hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ali Hamza Özhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kerim Kilic was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. A wasted opportunity for Balikesir. 39 minutes into the game, Yağızalp Ortunc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kerim Kilic. Yağızalp Ortunc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Evald Varblane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Hamza Özhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kerim Kilic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evald Varblane in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the game, Balikesir's Yağızalp Ortunc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kerim Kilic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Hacı Ali Mengüer fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 51Niğde's protests and gave Hacı Ali Mengüer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 51Niğde's Hacı Ali Mengüer got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Balikesir's Üzeyir Uçbay made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kerim Kilic was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 63 minutes, Yağızalp Ortunc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerim Kilic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evald Varblane, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 71st minute, Evald Varblane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kerim Kilic was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Kerim Kilic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evald Varblane's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Yağızalp Ortunc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kerim Kilic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, 51Niğde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durmuş Sinan to maneuver through the defense. Yağızalp Ortunc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kerim Kilic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Hamza Özhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerim Kilic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 51Niğde's Burhanettin Yörük got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Balikesir were the better team. Balikesir's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
