The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, How I Meet Your Mother's goal looked a bit too open when Hulusi Sonat came free, but Tibet Erendiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alacam getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Fahri Ruşeni hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Alacam's goal looked a bit too open when Doğuş Namal came free, but Salih Taymaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alacam's Ali Arpacıoğlu got a free kick in the 19th minute. Salih Taymaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Namal in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Cahit Özerhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Poyraz Yalazay made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Poyraz Yalazay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alacam's Salih Taymaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Alacam from getting a goal against them. Poyraz Yalazay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Mustafa Arif Arslangiray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 played minutes Alacam got a freekick which was hit by Ediz Sehriyar. Poyraz Yalazay kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediz Sehriyar in the 67th minute of play forced How I Meet Your Mother's goalkeeper Tibet Erendiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes, Alacam's Ediz Sehriyar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tibet Erendiz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alacam reached it. In a very dangerous position, a player in How I Meet Your Mother fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Alacam. Ediz Sehriyar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tibet Erendiz. 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Hulusi Sonat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tibet Erendiz. How I Meet Your Mother's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hulusi Sonat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mustafa Arif Arslangiray charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Arif Arslangiray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, How I Meet Your Mother's Mustafa Arif Arslangiray got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alacam's zone, Mustafa Arif Arslangiray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salih Taymaz came out of the goal and Mustafa Arif Arslangiray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tibet Erendiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faik Şahinkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 98 minutes, İlhan Hatırlı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the How I Meet Your Mother and the Alacam players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alacam's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
