When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Faik Şahinkan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tamer Civan. Baturalp Tolgay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hulusi Sonat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tamer Civan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Doğuhan Canıtez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Salih Taymaz to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulusi Sonat in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tamer Civan saved Fenerbahçe from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Hulusi Sonat came free, but Tamer Civan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hulusi Sonat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tamer Civan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Refik Halit Nurbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salih Taymaz was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Doğuhan Canıtez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Doğuhan Canıtez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Doğuhan Canıtez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salih Taymaz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hulusi Sonat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tamer Civan was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Kulp FC's Baturalp Tolgay got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tamer Civan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulusi Sonat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hulusi Sonat to strike the kick off in the second half. Baturalp Tolgay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Tamer Civan made a huge save. Yağızalp Tekke was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. Salih Taymaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orbay Akar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Kulp FC's Hulusi Sonat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tamer Civan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Doğuhan Canıtez came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Fenerbahçe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuhan Canıtez couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Ediz Sehriyar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fenerbahçe's Doğuhan Canıtez got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 minutes, Hulusi Sonat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kulp FC and the Fenerbahçe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Kulp FC got a freekick which was hit by Hulusi Sonat. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baturalp Tolgay during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baturalp Tolgay kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Hulusi Sonat in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tamer Civan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Refik Halit Nurbay kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Fahri Ruşeni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tamer Civan. Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Hulusi Sonat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tamer Civan, 3-2. Fenerbahçe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kulp FC for a fine match.
