In the 22nd minute, Balamir Durna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kadir Uluğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aygün Selman's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Aktan Ersalmış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kadir Uluğ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aygün Selman went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Köycegiz's goal looked a bit too open when Müfit Akboy came free, but Oğuzalp İnan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkan Kutalp in the 38th minute of play forced Köycegiz's goalkeeper Oğuzalp İnan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Köycegiz's zone, Aktan Ersalmış stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oğuzalp İnan came out of the goal and Aktan Ersalmış tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aygün Selman in the 41st minute of play forced TurkishSigmas FK's goalkeeper Kadir Uluğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aktan Ersalmış could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Oğuzalp İnan made a huge save.

The wind increased when Erkan Kutalp made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Köycegiz's Ferdi Mecnun got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Köycegiz's zone, Erkan Kutalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oğuzalp İnan came out of the goal and Erkan Kutalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Erkan Kutalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TurkishSigmas FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erkan Kutalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Müfit Akboy fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TurkishSigmas FK's protests and gave Müfit Akboy a yellow card for diving instead. Kadir Uluğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aygün Selman, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. TurkishSigmas FK's Aktan Ersalmış got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Köycegiz's Oğuzalp İnan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkan Kutalp in the 76th minute of play. Özen Garipoğlu's late challenge caught a TurkishSigmas FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özen Garipoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Erkan Kutalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Oğuzalp İnan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oğuzalp İnan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aktan Ersalmış in the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Aktan Ersalmış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzalp İnan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
