Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aytek Kaçkar started the match with the kick off. Yalı's Naim Karaalp managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enis Nasreddin in the 3 minute of the game. Naim Karaalp charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naim Karaalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gökceyazi booed when Yalı was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Afşar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Yalı booed when Gökceyazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Rıza Tokel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gökceyazi's Gündüz Nahit got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gündüz Nahit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Berker Rıza Tokel made a precise shot to the right of Tuna Kayaalp. Yalı's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Vahit Hastimur came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Yalı fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahit Hastimur couldn't finish the play. After having played for 32 minutes, Zeki Pekalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gökceyazi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeki Pekalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yalı's attentive Cafer Taşan managed to snatch the ball when Gani Eraslan made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Fevzi Kökşin struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tuna Kayaalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gökceyazi. Gündüz Nahit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute of the game Gani Eraslan made a throw-in which Mustafa Hamit Bal played forward. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
In the 53rd minute, Nadir Şerif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berker Rıza Tokel in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuna Kayaalp saved Yalı from getting behind. Gündüz Nahit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tuna Kayaalp having to make a save. Berker Rıza Tokel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuna Kayaalp having to interfere. Tuna Kayaalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enis Nasreddin in the 58th minute of the match. Gökceyazi's Bora Akoğul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytek Kaçkar in the 59th minute of play. If Zeki Pekalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Yalı defense, Zeki Pekalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuna Kayaalp. The Yalı fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuna Kayaalp should have stopped the shot. Tuna Kayaalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berker Rıza Tokel in the 77th minute of play. If Gündüz Nahit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Nadir Şerif was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yalı's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gökceyazi the free kick. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Gökceyazi. Zeki Pekalp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tuna Kayaalp. 3-1. Gökceyazi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
