In the 31st match minute, Talatpaşa Gençlikspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hazar Özcam to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fly High to Glory's zone, İzzet Bir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dursun Ali Adalı came out of the goal and İzzet Bir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fly High to Glory's Buğrahan Mengü pulled a muscle in his back after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 46th minute, Nihat Şimşektürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necat Tarancı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgay Şeren having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Necat Tarancı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dursun Ali Adalı went to the wrong direction when Artaç Karay was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Yakup Kadri Keçeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yakup Kadri Keçeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. In the 92nd minute Ben Brereton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ali Adalı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ben Brereton came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Talatpaşa Gençlikspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Brereton couldn't finish the play.
