The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bünyamin Şatıroğlu got free with İlhami Kamuran in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bünyamin Şatıroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rüstem Nebahattin scored 5-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İlhami Kamuran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Bayindir FK's Faruk Bengisoy got control of the ball when Fikri Eymen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saip Doğu charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
