Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fuat Torum started the match with the kick off. Semavi Oyalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İlhami Kamuran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Semavi Oyalp ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the game, Cemil Uluçkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denizlispor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hisarcik the free kick. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Hisarcik's Songur İldeniz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of İlhami Kamuran. Hamit Taştekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğan Akçiçek, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. İlhami Kamuran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fuat Torum in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Hisarcik's goal looked a bit too open when Berker Dürüst came free, but Hamit Taştekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doğan Akçiçek took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamit Taştekin. Hamit Taştekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 35 played minutes Denizlispor got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Cahit Yağızbay. In the 40th minute, Songur İldeniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İlhami Kamuran was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Hisarcik booed when Denizlispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Dürüst didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Semavi Oyalp took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for İlhami Kamuran to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüseyin Cahit Yağızbay to make the kick off. Hamit Taştekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Yağızbay in the 57th minute of play. İlhami Kamuran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songur İldeniz in the 60th minute of the match. Berker Dürüst received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hamit Taştekin came out and tried to block the shot, but Berker Dürüst slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 69th minute. A collision led to Hisarcik getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Uluç Ağaoğlu hit a great ball. Fuat Torum scored 4-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İlhami Kamuran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Berker Dürüst kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hamit Taştekin. That made the score 4-3 in the 85 minute of play. Cengizhan Suavi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Hamit Taştekin made a huge save. In the 92nd match minute, Denizlispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berker Dürüst to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hisarcik booed when Denizlispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Cahit Yağızbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hisarcik's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
