Teobaldo Ellande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Payasspor's goal looked a bit too open when Fazlı Karin came free, but Teobaldo Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Payasspor's Habib Azim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mustafa Cumhur Albay. Mustafa Cumhur Albay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Payasspor's Teobaldo Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Osmanoğulları in the 18th minute of play. Habib Azim hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ayvaz Şafakoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobaldo Ellande was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Ayvaz Şafakoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bektaş Veli Kaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Payasspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enver Eryaman to maneuver through the defense. Payasspor's Teobaldo Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Osmanoğulları in the 34th minute of play. Meriç Osmanoğulları took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobaldo Ellande. Teobaldo Ellande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aybek Akkan during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Türkgücü getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aybek Akkan hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Payasspor's goal looked a bit too open when Erkan Üner came free, but Teobaldo Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enver Eryaman hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Payasspor's Teobaldo Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aybek Akkan in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 72 minutes, Selahaddin Afşaroğlu made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Türkgücü's Mustafa Cumhur Albay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Fazlı Karin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Teobaldo Ellande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mustafa Cumhur Albay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selahaddin Afşaroğlu in the 84th minute of play. Semi Özata kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Teobaldo Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ayvaz Şafakoğlu in the 94th minute of the match. Ayvaz Şafakoğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teobaldo Ellande came out and tried to block the shot, but Ayvaz Şafakoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-8 in the 96th minute.
