Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atalay Yalaza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Hami Ataoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Lacin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hami Ataoğlu couldn't finish the play. Alptuğ Erakalın struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Talat Orkut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lacin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duran Ergüven during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Lacin got a freekick which was hit by Duran Ergüven. Talat Orkut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hami Ataoğlu in the 13th minute of play. When Özal Erokay fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lacin's protests and gave Özal Erokay a yellow card for diving instead. Alptuğ Erakalın took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Talat Orkut. Talat Orkut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th match minute, Türkoglu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arcan Yusuf to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th match minute, Lacin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özal Erokay to maneuver through the defense. Lacin's Cankut Hürsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Ozan Suerdem in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Arif Ozan Suerdem notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lacin's Cankut Hürsoy. Cankut Hürsoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 played minutes Türkoglu got a freekick which was hit by Giray Ayalp. Alptuğ Erakalın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Talat Orkut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Atalay Yalaza in the 36th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Cankut Hürsoy kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atalay Yalaza in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cankut Hürsoy saved Lacin from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Lacin's Duran Ergüven got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th match minute, Lacin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duran Ergüven to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hami Ataoğlu to make the kick off. Arif Ozan Suerdem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talat Orkut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hami Ataoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Hami Ataoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Talat Orkut was relentless in the 60th minute of the game.
