In the 43rd minute, Arif Nihat İlkim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, Necip Tayyip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaprakli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necip Tayyip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Nihat İlkim was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Necip Tayyip left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yaprakli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mehmet Ali Ayçetin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Nihat İlkim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Yaprakli players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
