Konyaalti's Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ataol Tanören could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Güvenç Sağbilge made a huge save. Güvenç Sağbilge made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Konyaalti's zone, Baha Bozbora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zülfikar Tümkan came out of the goal and Baha Bozbora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zülfikar Tümkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atahan Yağıztekin in the 15th minute of play. Zülfikar Tümkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baha Bozbora, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Datca's goalkeeper Güvenç Sağbilge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin. If Baha Bozbora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Atahan Yağıztekin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zülfikar Tümkan was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Datca's Gazanfer Necid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zülfikar Tümkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serbülent Kurhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zülfikar Tümkan having to interfere. Datca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atabey Zeynel in the 51st minute. After taking down the ball on Datca's corner Atabey Zeynel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zülfikar Tümkan quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ataol Tanören in the 59th minute of play forced Datca's goalkeeper Güvenç Sağbilge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Datca's Güvenç Sağbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrah Kutlutekin in the 61st minute of play. Dinçer Diclehan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Emrah Kutlutekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güvenç Sağbilge having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Datca's Güvenç Sağbilge. Güvenç Sağbilge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin's late challenge caught a Datca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Seyfi Rafettin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Atahan Yağıztekin struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Zülfikar Tümkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Datca. Serbülent Kurhan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Zülfikar Tümkan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emrah Kutlutekin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serbülent Kurhan got free with Zülfikar Tümkan in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Emrah Kutlutekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute Şimşek Orkutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Sağbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baha Bozbora fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Datca's protests and gave Baha Bozbora a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Datca's Baha Bozbora got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Sermet Topçay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Güvenç Sağbilge skillfully saved the ball. Güvenç Sağbilge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şimşek Orkutay, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Sermet Topçay hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When Atahan Yağıztekin came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Datca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atahan Yağıztekin couldn't finish the play. Zülfikar Tümkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atahan Yağıztekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
