Kubilay Hasret made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 3rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Kuzey Sadir would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akın Sayman during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Akın Sayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuzey Sadir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamer Özkaya in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kubilay Hasret got free with Kuzey Sadir in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kamer Özkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kuzey Sadir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Kubilay Hasret got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 14th match minute, MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behzat Özal to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kamer Özkaya sped through Mesut FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kuzey Sadir. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Davut Sarı in the 22nd minute of play forced MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's goalkeeper Ardahan Hekimbaşı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Bro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kamer Özkaya in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuzey Sadir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu booed when Mesut FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercan Özengin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mesut FC's zone, Kamer Özkaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuzey Sadir came out of the goal and Kamer Özkaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Kuzey Sadir managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Kubilay Hasret fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes into the match, Mesut FC's goalkeeper Kuzey Sadir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kubilay Hasret. A collision led to Mesut FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vacib Turan hit a great ball. Akın Sayman got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Akın Sayman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Kamer Özkaya struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kuzey Sadir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu. In the 46th minute Kamer Özkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuzey Sadir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuzey Sadir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Kenan Uygun in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Davut Sarı was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamer Özkaya in the 59th minute of play forced Mesut FC's goalkeeper Kuzey Sadir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Hakkı Kenan Uygun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuzey Sadir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Mesut FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kamer Özkaya came free, but Kuzey Sadir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hakkı Kenan Uygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercan Özengin charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ercan Özengin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mesut FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nedim Korur hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Kubilay Hasret managed to get in a good position for a shot. MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's supporters rose to their feet, but Kubilay Hasret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuzey Sadir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Mesut FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kamer Özkaya came free, but Kuzey Sadir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdi Bro took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kuzey Sadir. Kuzey Sadir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 81 minutes into the match, Mesut FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kubilay Hasret came free, but Kuzey Sadir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nedim Korur's late challenge caught a MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nedim Korur helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu booed when Mesut FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedim Korur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamer Özkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, Kamer Özkaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
