İldeniz Kutlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Jaen went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. İldeniz Kutlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Jaen in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute Gökalp Adısönmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charis Kafetzis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İldeniz Kutlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Kaan Alişan's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. İldeniz Kutlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kaan Alişan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 64th minute Rüknettin Titiz managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After 69 played minutes, Kütahya FK's Atabek Tokgöz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charis Kafetzis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kütahya FK reached it. After a rather tough play, merkez kayaşehir's Ilgaz Paşa got a free kick in the 71st minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İldeniz Kutlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ali Kaan Alişan came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the merkez kayaşehir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Kaan Alişan couldn't finish the play.
