In the 33rd minute, Anıl Okaner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anıl Okaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Särg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fevzi Kandemir in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Anıl Okaner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Särg. Baykan SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anıl Okaner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Anıl Okaner made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Emniyettepe SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tacettin Ayberk to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa İzzet Alptekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saadettin Çiltay's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Roland Särg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Okaner in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match, Tacettin Ayberk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roland Särg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emniyettepe SK's Mustafa İzzet Alptekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saadettin Çiltay in the 70th minute of play. Roland Särg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Okaner, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The tension between the Emniyettepe SK and the Baykan SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Emniyettepe SK's Anıl Okaner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roland Särg. Roland Särg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. With a little luck, Baykan SK's Roland Särg got control of the ball when Ertunç Hatim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erim Süner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Baykan SK's Roberts Lewandowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa İzzet Alptekin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Emniyettepe SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Emniyettepe SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
