The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Onete in the 7th minute of the match. Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Onete in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, João Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÖZKANLAR A.Ş. In the 43rd minute Zekeriya Rızkullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elazig FK's Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zekeriya Rızkullah in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Zekeriya Rızkullah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÖZKANLAR A.Ş. SK.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zekeriya Rızkullah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elazig FK's Mehmet Osman Elmacıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Elazig FK from getting a goal against them. When the match was over ÖZKANLAR A.Ş. SK. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elazig FK throughout the match.
