When Korhan Mahsun came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the EsTeRGoN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korhan Mahsun couldn't finish the play. EsTeRGoN were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Trakya Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gérard Piquet took the corner. After 17 played minutes EsTeRGoN got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Filiz. Kerimhan Tüzeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aureliano Peio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to EsTeRGoN getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gérard Piquet hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerimhan Tüzeman got free with Aureliano Peio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 minutes, Kerimhan Tüzeman made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Trakya Football Club's Aureliano Peio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aureliano Peio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerimhan Tüzeman in the 36th minute of the match. Gökçen Akçal hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ardahan Borlu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Trakya Football Club's Aureliano Peio got control of the ball when Ercüment Yay tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ercüment Yay made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Bernardino Ipar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trakya Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Ipar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 51 minutes into the game, Yahya Pehlivan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trakya Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EsTeRGoN the free kick. After 52 played minutes Trakya Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Yahya Pehlivan. In the 53rd minute Korhan Mahsun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Peio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurand Marczyniec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ardahan Borlu in the 59th minute of the match. Jurand Marczyniec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Ipar in the 61st minute. Aureliano Peio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korhan Mahsun's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korhan Mahsun in the 69th minute of play forced Trakya Football Club's goalkeeper Aureliano Peio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes EsTeRGoN got a freekick which was hit by Boran İsrafil. Bernardino Ipar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jurand Marczyniec came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardino Ipar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, EsTeRGoN's goalkeeper Jurand Marczyniec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Ipar. In the 86th minute, Vecdi Adsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ercüment Yay managed to get in a good position for a shot. EsTeRGoN's supporters rose to their feet, but Ercüment Yay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Peio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Bernardino Ipar made a precise shot to the right of Jurand Marczyniec. EsTeRGoN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Trakya Football Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
