The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Fikret Çakmur during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmet Fikret Çakmur kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kandemir Zeynelabidin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şensoy Yücealp was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Onur Mevlit made a precise shot to the right of Şensoy Yücealp. Manchester City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Manchester City FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Süruri Kose hit a great ball. Şensoy Yücealp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Tüzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Arif Çelebi Tüzel might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şensoy Yücealp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arif Çelebi Tüzel ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Lazutlar SK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ergin Ağyar hit a great ball. A hard shot by Durmuş Bahadıroğlu from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Esen Kayrabay's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Esen Kayrabay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Besim Şakib in the 27th minute of play. Arif Çelebi Tüzel scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şensoy Yücealp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 played minutes Manchester City FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gökalp Hayırlı. Şensoy Yücealp came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Lazutlar SK's Kandemir Zeynelabidin. But to his dismay, Kandemir Zeynelabidin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Lazutlar SK's Esen Kayrabay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Lazutlar SK from getting a goal against them. Keramettin Celilay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şensoy Yücealp having to interfere. Lazutlar SK's Keramettin Celilay got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Kandemir Zeynelabidin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şensoy Yücealp. Manchester City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kandemir Zeynelabidin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harun Oymen made a kick off. After some careless play in the Lazutlar SK defense, Harun Oymen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esen Kayrabay. The Lazutlar SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esen Kayrabay should have stopped the shot. Onur Mevlit struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Şensoy Yücealp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazutlar SK. After a rather tough play, Manchester City FC's Durmuş Bahadıroğlu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Esen Kayrabay came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester City FC's Harun Oymen. But to his dismay, Harun Oymen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kandemir Zeynelabidin in the 73rd minute of play forced Manchester City FC's goalkeeper Şensoy Yücealp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esen Kayrabay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harun Oymen went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. If Gencay Toper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Hikmet Yalavaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hao Jun Si's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şensoy Yücealp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When Kandemir Zeynelabidin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Lazutlar SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kandemir Zeynelabidin couldn't finish the play. Şensoy Yücealp came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lazutlar SK's Arif Çelebi Tüzel. But to his dismay, Arif Çelebi Tüzel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. If Arif Çelebi Tüzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arif Çelebi Tüzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Şensoy Yücealp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şensoy Yücealp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arif Çelebi Tüzel in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lazutlar SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
