With his leg Ahmet Hakan Sezen managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Ekmek spor's Xove Añel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the game, Stratos Kalatzis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Hakan Sezen. Stratos Kalatzis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Xove Añel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Hakan Sezen was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Ahmet Hakan Sezen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xove Añel in the 22nd minute of the match. Cerrahpasa JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Benicio Suero scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Hakan Sezen, making the score, 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Hadi Şirzat notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ekmek spor's Jan-Maria Pfaff. Jan-Maria Pfaff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahmet Hakan Sezen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xove Añel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xove Añel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Hakan Sezen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kadri Başeski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Ekmek spor's goal looked a bit too open when Hadi Şirzat came free, but Jan-Maria Pfaff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İskender Baki Özgen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Xove Añel scored 4-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Hakan Sezen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xove Añel in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Hakan Sezen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Xove Añel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Hakan Sezen was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. İskender Baki Özgen struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ahmet Hakan Sezen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekmek spor. After 93 played minutes Cerrahpasa JK got a freekick which was hit by Aziz Karan. Ahmet Hakan Sezen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xove Añel in the 97th minute of play. Benicio Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hakan Sezen having to interfere.
