Kubat Aktay started the match with the kick off. Can Oğuzbay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Klewinski in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, GTA sk's goalkeeper Can Oğuzbay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Münir Barlas. In the 21st minute, Kubat Aktay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kubat Aktay in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Aimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cosme Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Ozan Vakkasoğlu in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by KIRIKKALE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kubat Aktay was slow to take the kick. During this time GTA sk's players had a chance to rest. In the 30th minute, Bogdan Klewinski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bogdan Klewinski struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Can Oğuzbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KIRIKKALE FC. Münir Barlas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Bogdan Klewinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, KIRIKKALE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Ozan Vakkasoğlu came free, but Cosme Aimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, GTA sk's goal looked a bit too open when Basri Üstünbay came free, but Can Oğuzbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Basri Üstünbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Münir Barlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basri Üstünbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, KIRIKKALE FC's Basri Üstünbay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Can Oğuzbay was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Basri Üstünbay in the 56th minute of play forced GTA sk's goalkeeper Can Oğuzbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Münir Barlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute of the match, Kubat Aktay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cosme Aimar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd match minute, KIRIKKALE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atabey Boyraz to maneuver through the defense. Oğuz Yumus kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes KIRIKKALE FC got a freekick which was hit by Artun Tokuşhan. 70 minutes into the match, GTA sk's goal looked a bit too open when Basri Üstünbay came free, but Can Oğuzbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match KIRIKKALE FC got a corner. GTA sk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basri Üstünbay ran over to the corner to take the kick. 76 minutes into the match, Atabey Boyraz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of GTA sk's Can Oğuzbay. Can Oğuzbay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 minutes GTA sk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Basri Üstünbay who took care of the corner kick. Cosme Aimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Reha Irak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes GTA sk got a freekick which was hit by Orkun İsmail. When Basri Üstünbay came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the KIRIKKALE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basri Üstünbay couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the KIRIKKALE FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
