But to his dismay, Paulo Oxarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Štefan Plučinský had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio Moreno. Ankara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Štefan Plučinský was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 18th minute, Štefan Plučinský ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 23 minutes into the match, Ankara's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğit Can Savni came free, but Geovânio Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Yiğit Can Savni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 44 minutes of play, Ad Astra Per Aspera's Davut Haktanır made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ad Astra Per Aspera were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ankara's Geovânio Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Oxarra in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Geovânio Moreno managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Ad Astra Per Aspera's Štefan Plučinský fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Geovânio Moreno made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Paulo Oxarra sent off a good shot on target.
