Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Ilie Vergulescu made the kick off and thus started the match. Berat Cantekin charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berat Cantekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Altinova got a freekick which was hit by Berat Cantekin. After a rather tough play, Altinova's Berat Cantekin got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Altinova's Yaser Koçer got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ilie Vergulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eralp Yıldırımtürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altinova's Eralp Yıldırımtürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Vergulescu in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batı Samin during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Altinova's Batı Samin got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altinova's goalkeeper Eralp Yıldırımtürk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eralp Yıldırımtürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Vergulescu in the 29th minute of play. Ilie Vergulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eralp Yıldırımtürk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilie Vergulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. The Kocaelispor fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Kocaelispor's Ilie Vergulescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hüsnü Uluman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kocaelispor's Américo Amenábar got control of the ball when Mustafa Arif Peyami tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eralp Yıldırımtürk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilie Vergulescu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 46 minutes of play, Kocaelispor's Batu Cem Mertkal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eralp Yıldırımtürk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Berat Cantekin got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Abidin Okatay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eralp Yıldırımtürk. Altinova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 56 played minutes Altinova got a freekick which was hit by Savaşer Buğdaycı. Kocaelispor's Ilie Vergulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Altinova's Eralp Yıldırımtürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Altinova from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Altinova's goalkeeper Eralp Yıldırımtürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilie Vergulescu. The crowd rose to their feet as Abidin Okatay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eralp Yıldırımtürk. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilie Vergulescu in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eralp Yıldırımtürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eralp Yıldırımtürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Vergulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Altinova booed when Kocaelispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tunç Eymen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Altinova's Cem Cesman got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eralp Yıldırımtürk was a little too slow when Batu Cem Mertkal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-5. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Eralp Yıldırımtürk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded Kocaelispor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Altinova.
