In the 40th minute, Arif Tugay Hacıahmetoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Adapazarı FK's goal looked a bit too open when Savaşer Buğdaycı came free, but Germano Espinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hüsnü Uluman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 72nd minute, Arif Egemen Aktaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Adapazarı FK booed when Altinova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakan Alp didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüsnü Uluman in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germano Espinosa saved Adapazarı FK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filippo Inzaghi in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eralp Yıldırımtürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Altinova's Cesur Cangiray got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Filippo Inzaghi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filippo Inzaghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eralp Yıldırımtürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eralp Yıldırımtürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Egemen Aktaç, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Arif Egemen Aktaç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altinova's Eralp Yıldırımtürk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Filippo Inzaghi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eralp Yıldırımtürk was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After 91 played minutes Adapazarı FK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Tugay Hacıahmetoğlu. In the 95th match minute, Adapazarı FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fethi Uğurel to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
