In the 21st minute of the match Turko got a corner. MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aşık Beybolat ran over to the corner to take the kick. Durmuş Kamer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Turko's Durmuş Kamer fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Şeref Özdeş was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. A collision led to MeZoPoTaMYa FK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Güner Karacan hit a great ball. When İzzettin Ersevim came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the MeZoPoTaMYa FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İzzettin Ersevim couldn't finish the play. Varol Mehdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Şeref Özdeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, MeZoPoTaMYa FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil İbrahim Ceviz to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Can Üstek made the kick off in the second half. If 刘昂奕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 50th minute 刘昂奕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikolay Bonkov came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by MeZoPoTaMYa FK's Güner Karacan. But to his dismay, Güner Karacan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Can Üstek in the 66th minute of play forced MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalkeeper Şeref Özdeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayyam Önen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Turko's Hayati Tüzmen got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind MeZoPoTaMYa FK's goalkeeper Şeref Özdeş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MeZoPoTaMYa FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Gökalp Erserim in the 77th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Turko's goalie and right to Abidin Oktar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Turko's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 81st minute, Halil Can Salikbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MeZoPoTaMYa FK's Şeref Özdeş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save MeZoPoTaMYa FK from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Güner Karacan made a precise shot to the right of Nikolay Bonkov. Turko's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 92 played minutes MeZoPoTaMYa FK got a freekick which was hit by Knut Wållander. The audience was convinced that Güner Karacan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikolay Bonkov was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The MeZoPoTaMYa FK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
