Dida Gentenaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emran Karaalp in the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Unique Star's zone, Qian Yun Ting stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuddusî Taygun came out of the goal and Qian Yun Ting tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Unique Star's Kuddusî Taygun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Unique Star from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute of the match BATMAN SK got a corner. Unique Star's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yiğit Can Ilgın ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ali Hamza Duyar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kuddusî Taygun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Unique Star's Domingo Cordeal got a free kick in the 36th minute. Yusuf Kartal kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, BATMAN SK's Yiğit Can Ilgın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kuddusî Taygun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Qian Yun Ting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuddusî Taygun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unique Star's Kuddusî Taygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qian Yun Ting in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BATMAN SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Unique Star had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
