Kuddusî Taygun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ozan Arslan in the 2nd minute. When Emran Karaalp came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Unique Star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emran Karaalp couldn't finish the play. Sid Edwards's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercüment Bender read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Sid Edwards ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercüment Bender was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Kepez's goal looked a bit too open when Utkan Ayık came free, but Ercüment Bender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Emran Karaalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercüment Bender was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Ahmet Ozan Arslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İskender Baki Arslanşah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Kuddusî Taygun made a huge save. The Kepez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Unique Star were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İskender Baki Arslanşah made a kick off. The supporters of Kepez booed when Unique Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emran Karaalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ercüment Bender stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emran Karaalp's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Unique Star's Kuddusî Taygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ozan Arslan in the 57th minute of play. Emran Karaalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Ercüment Bender when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that İskender Baki Arslanşah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuddusî Taygun was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuddusî Taygun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Ahmet Ozan Arslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercüment Bender was a little too slow when Emran Karaalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-5. İskender Baki Arslanşah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kuddusî Taygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercüment Bender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emran Karaalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Emran Karaalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emran Karaalp in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ercüment Bender, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Unique Star played a much better game than Kepez and deserved their victory. The Kepez players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
