Vahap Turabi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clive Boon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Nazım Ocak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Vahap Turabi made a huge save. Clive Boon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahap Turabi having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Tanju Sonalp fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezen Kaman in the 27th minute of play forced SeLaMaLeKiM's goalkeeper Atak Özaltın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Sermet Taran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atak Özaltın was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Tanju Sonalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 蒋笑俊 struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. The supporters of SeLaMaLeKiM booed when BESİKTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sermet Taran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 蒋笑俊 kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sermet Taran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Utkan Nabi charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clive Boon in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vahap Turabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Clive Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahap Turabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Clive Boon managed to get in a good position for a shot. SeLaMaLeKiM's supporters rose to their feet, but Clive Boon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vahap Turabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vahap Turabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 蒋笑俊 in the 84th minute of the match. 蒋笑俊 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to BESİKTAS getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Altan Bülbül hit a great ball. The referee gave SeLaMaLeKiM a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gustavo Coronel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BESİKTAS's Vahap Turabi. 4-0. After 98 played minutes BESİKTAS got a freekick which was hit by Gürol Demirağ. Gustavo Coronel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vahap Turabi. BESİKTAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
