Pasabahce's Dinçer İlsak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Confesor in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktuğ Dağasan in the 12th minute of play forced Pasabahce's goalkeeper Dinçer İlsak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinçer İlsak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Polonia in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Vakfıkebir SK's Aktuğ Dağasan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dinçer İlsak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Akşemseddin Doğa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güneri Kurman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Pasabahce's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Confesor came free, but Dinçer İlsak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vakfıkebir SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Andaç Yıldırım scored to the left of an out of position Akşemseddin Doğa, making the score, 2-1. Pasabahce were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Vakfıkebir SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yakup Yücesan took the corner. Mehmet Halis Şahkar scored 2-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinçer İlsak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Utku Ökkeş in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vakfıkebir SK's Muhsin Hüsrev. In the 46th minute, Bill Polonia made a precise shot to the right of Dinçer İlsak. Pasabahce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aktuğ Dağasan to make the kick off. Pasabahce's Dinçer İlsak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Pasabahce from getting a goal against them. Dinçer İlsak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aktuğ Dağasan in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arda Göksel Şenol during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pasabahce booed when Vakfıkebir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Göksel Şenol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pasabahce's Yakup Yücesan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The supporters of Pasabahce booed when Vakfıkebir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüstem Özsungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akşemseddin Doğa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakup Yücesan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes Vakfıkebir SK got a freekick which was hit by Alican Turan. When Yakup Yücesan came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pasabahce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yakup Yücesan couldn't finish the play. Dinçer İlsak came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Vakfıkebir SK's Bill Polonia. But to his dismay, Bill Polonia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Akşemseddin Doğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Önder Hacıoğlu in the 86th minute of play. Pasabahce's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yakup Yücesan in the 88th minute. After taking down the ball on Pasabahce's corner Yakup Yücesan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Akşemseddin Doğa quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Pasabahce's Dinçer İlsak got control of the ball when Bill Polonia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute Aktuğ Dağasan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinçer İlsak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Halis Şahkar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dinçer İlsak. Pasabahce's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bill Polonia got free with Dinçer İlsak in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Pasabahce's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Halis Şahkar came free, but Dinçer İlsak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Polonia came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dinçer İlsak could save by the left post. Vakfıkebir SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
