Spectators: 7166 (Terracing: 5280, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kutay Oymen started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patric Bierhoff in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Felipo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fikri Demirci kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ahmet Ömür Yalazay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Rüknettin Bağdaş made a huge save. After 14 minutes, Ahmet Sedat Köklem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ERCİYES SPOR and the ASLANAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. ERCİYES SPOR's Pedro Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Ümit in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute Tan Ümit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tan Ümit in the 20th minute of play forced ERCİYES SPOR's goalkeeper Pedro Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ASLANAS's Rüknettin Bağdaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ASLANAS from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, Kutay Oymen lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Rüknettin Bağdaş. ASLANAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Kutay Oymen scored to the left of an out of position Rüknettin Bağdaş, making the score, 2-0. ASLANAS's Rüknettin Bağdaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutay Oymen in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, ERCİYES SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Tan Ümit came free, but Pedro Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anıl Cenk Tunalı charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anıl Cenk Tunalı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, ASLANAS's Erhan Dozie seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erhan Dozie the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ASLANAS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erhan Dozie had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. ASLANAS:s Rüknettin Bağdaş showed great skill when he stopped Kutay Oymen:s penalty. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Rüknettin Bağdaş successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Fikret Orkutay put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rüknettin Bağdaş. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tan Ümit was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, ERCİYES SPOR's Ruben Rudolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüknettin Bağdaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Pedro Felipo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Batı Yafes sent off a good shot on target. After 75 minutes of play, ERCİYES SPOR's Kutay Oymen made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rüknettin Bağdaş was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to ERCİYES SPOR getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ferman İdilkurt hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ASLANAS's Fikri Demirci got a free kick in the 80th minute. Kutay Oymen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of ERCİYES SPOR booed when ASLANAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fikri Demirci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Sedat Köklem made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ASLANAS's Anıl Cenk Tunalı. ASLANAS's Rüknettin Bağdaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ömür Yalazay in the 95th minute of play. ERCİYES SPOR's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
