After 33 played minutes, Mardin Kızıltepe's Barlas Akın shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Tanbek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Ahmet Tanbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayındır Saraç in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jelte van de Meerakker in the 45th minute of play forced AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's goalkeeper Ahmet Tanbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Barlas Akın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mardin Kızıltepe and the AKINCILAR DeLiLeR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Mardin Kızıltepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barlas Akın to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Harun Merdan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 65thth minute of the game Yasin Özsungur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mardin Kızıltepe's Ahmet Harun Merdan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şerif Attaroğlu in the 69th minute of play forced Mardin Kızıltepe's goalkeeper Ahmet Harun Merdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Rıfat Usbey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Arif Altuncuoğlu made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bayındır Saraç immediately put the ball in play. If Cebrail Yazır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
