Zeytindalı SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Battal Cüneyt Seralp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Kepsut SK's Okan Topdemir suffered a sore thigh after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cevat Bayülgen's late challenge caught a Kepsut SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cevat Bayülgen helped the player get up and apologised. Kepsut SK made a substitution. Sebastián Rambert replaced Okan Topdemir. A collision led to Zeytindalı SK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Cevat Bayülgen hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Kepsut SK's Battal Cüneyt Seralp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Müfit Burçhan. In the 46th minute Cahit Durdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-1.

Kepsut SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
